Ralph Edward Cox

CLARKSBURG — Ralph Edward Cox, age 90, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at his residence.He was born May 2, 1927, in Weston, WV, son of the late Ralph Dee Cox and Ethel Blanche (Robinson) Cox.Ralph is survived by a daughter, Dianne Savina and her husband, Bryant of Clarksburg, WV; daughter-in-law, Cathie Cox of Clarksburg, WV; two grandchildren, Michael Savina and his wife, Fallon of Clarksburg, WV, and Tina Kapnicky and her husband, Jason of Fairmont, WV; three grandchildren, Gianna, Bella and Addie.In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, whom he married on June 5, 1947, Betty Marie (McCoy) Cox; a son, Terry M. Cox; a sister, Marie White; three brothers, John Cox, Bill Cox and Thomas Cox.Ralph was a graduate of Washington Irving High School and attended Salem College. He began working for Consolidated Hope Gas in 1947 before his retirement. He was the financial analyst.He served in in the U.S. Navy.Ralph was the past president of the Wilsonburg Lions Club, past director of Crystal Lake and the Clarksburg Moose Lodge.The Cox family would like to thank Dr. Brown and staff and Rainey and Dalin Hayes, as well as family and friend for all their compassion during this time.Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, on Sunday, June 11, 2017, from 2-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Davis Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Monday, June 12, 2017, with Pastor Richard Settles presiding. CLARKSBURG — Wanda Rollins, 89, of Harmony Valley Retirement Village, Clarksburg, WV, passed away at her home on Friday, July 28, 2017.She was born in Clarksburg on April 29, 1928, a daughter of the late Francis Glenn and Pearl Rose (Harris) Crickbaum.Mrs. Rollins was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Ross “Buck” Rollins; one sister, Annie Crickbaum; one brother, Hartzell Crickbaum; one granddaughter, Rebecca Rollins; and one daughter-in-law, Cindy Rollins.Wanda is survived by one daughter, Donna Moran (Ralph) of Grifton, NC; and four sons, Russell Rollins (Betsy) of Huntsville, AL, James Rollins (Pam) of Columbus, OH, Garry Rollins of Philippi, WV, and Carl Rollins (Kendra) of Columbus, OH; 19 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 21 great-great-grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.Wanda had many dear and caring friends at Harmony Valley. She was a life-long member of Duff Street United Methodist Church and Faith Sunday School Class.Family and friends will be received at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, 329 E. Main Street, Clarksburg, WV, on Monday, July 31, 2017, from 4 until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev.
